Homemade Findings

This project was a lot of fun.  I'm making my own finding now.  I use a hammer and steel block to flatten different areas of my pieces.

I am currently making necklaces through wire wrapping the stones, adding chains and topping them off with a homemade clasp finding.  Guess my next step will be to hit the flea market.

Selling to friends has turned a nice profit but it's now time to expand.  Since I live by the Pasadena Rose Bowl and they have a flea market every second Sunday of the month, that's where I'll start.

Just need to look into purchasing a tent, table, stands and a couple chairs. I also need to find a reasonably priced bead house.   Ordering online is okay but can get expensive.  My best finds have been visiting yard sales and community festivals where I find pieces I can take apart and reuse the stones on my own peices.

When I start participating in flea markets and craft shows, I'll keep you posted.  Wow, guess I have a lot of work and planning to do.  Okay, now it's time to get back to work.  I'm ready to start mixing some cool fall and festive colors for the holiday season.  Thinking some greens, reds, browns and yellows.  Bet I'll come up with something nice.

Later peeps!
